Animals?

TO VIEW IMAGES MORE CLOSELY—CLICK ON THE IMAGE
Absolutely!! What goes better with children than animals. And for some, their animals ARE considered their children.

I've painted many pet portraits for my friends over the years, but have never (until now) sought commissions for painting them. However, they have become some of my most requested subjects. Here, we see "Moxie"...full of the devil, and ready for a romp. While for the 9 month old kitten "Raisin" an inquisitive look was more her style.

If you decide your animals should occupy a special place on your walls, as well as in your hearts...let's see what I can do for you. If note cards would be more appropriate, I can do that as well.

I really love the way you capture their personalities in your colors and lighting of the paintings. Really gorgeous work.

COMMISSION A PAINTING

The first thing to do is contact Kobi directly by e-mail to discuss the type of painting you have in mind. At that time, an appointment will be set up for an "on-location" photo sitting. A final size is selected, and the painting process begins. An email version is sent to you for approval, with the final painting delivered within 10 days following approval. The entire process typically takes two to three weeks.

I will travel without charge anywhere within 100 miles of the Greater Los Angeles Area. Travel expenses for on location photography outside that range would be added to the cost of the painting.

A deposit of 50% is due at the first scheduled appointment, the remainder is due upon delivery of the finished painting.

Fees are negotiated at the time the order is placed. If changes to the painting are requested after the initial sketches are presented, or additional photography is needed it is charged at $80.00/hour.

Paintings are normally delivered flat. Matting, canvas stretching or framing all require additional costs and must be discussed before the work begins.

Only one original work of art is produced and included in the price. If additional copies or digital files are desired, additional charges will be quoted.

PRICES

Since each piece is a custom piece of art, your specific requirements are taken into consideration, a detailed estimate will be presented, discussed and agreed upon before the initial sitting.

Prices start at
$250.00
painted from your high resolution photos.
